In whiter lighting it displays soft pink to lavender tones, while under bluer reef lighting it often shifts warmer, showing noticeable orange hues with increased fluorescence.

Fimbriaphyllia paradivisa is the branching form of frogspawn coral. Its close relative, Fimbriaphyllia divisa, is the wall form.
